The whole thing was filled with anti-heroes. I didn’t like Mike and would have shot him myself. It was a bit like Bronn in GoT. I liked him initially, some brilliant one liners, but the character turned into a tosser IMO. He compered a concert I attended years ago - Ray Charles at the armadillo. Thoroughly charming. And I used to listen to his radio 2 blues show. See, that's it too - there's actually not much wrong with a very white and very upper middle-class English chap being an aficionado of the blues, but it just doesn't sit well with me for some reason. It's just my prejudice - but that's what disliking people for absolutely no reason is all about, innit?
