Venti
Anywhere up the East Coast. Actually jealous of the amount of good chippys you have. Anstruther is near my Sis'. But Stonehaven & Inverbervie 'chippers' are awesome.

hoopy1967
Anyone who calls it a 'chipper' deserves the death penalty IMO
Hedgecutter
Anyone who calls it a 'chipper' deserves the death penalty IMO As opposed to 'Chippy' which sounds like something which a 4 year old would ask for? No chip shop with Chippy in the title has ever won UK's best award whilst Chipper has. Chippys = second rate.

yoda
The Chippy in Ullapool. The takeaway bit at Gandolfi's in the Merchant City also does good fish and chips, although a bit more expensive than your average place.

WeAreElgin
The Trawler in Golspie or La Mirage in Helmsdale i think the one in hopeman is pretty decent, not been for a few years though! That clown in helmsdale's obviously been listening to his own hype for too long as it's horrendously overpriced and not even that great. I went there a few months ago and it was nearly £30 for 3 of us.
