The_BullyWee
Anyone been to Jacker de Viande on West Regent Street? I've been a couple of times and I think it's excellent. The menu isn't very big but they stuff they do is very good quality and I would really recommend it.

DigOutYourSoul
If you are ever in Dundee go to the Phoenix. I maintain that a chilli burger with ganja fries is the best meal in Scotland you can get for under a tenner. I got horrific food poisoning from a Phoenix Burger a couple of years back and haven't been back but i've heard so many good things about it i really, really want too. It'll just bring back memories of those three days which I really don't want.
Smurph
What really annoys me about some of these burger places is that you need to order chips seperately.
jamamafegan
What really annoys me about some of these burger places is that you need to order chips seperately. Absolutely this. Burgers and chips should come hand in hand always, no questions asked.
Dazzle
Anyone tried that Ed's Diner in the food court in the St. Enoch centre food court? Heard it's decent, but looks expensive, considering it's in an area where there are just fast food outlets like McDonalds/KFC/Burger King. The Nutella milkshake was indescribably amazing. philpy
The guy that has the jacker di viande place (or whatever it's called), I'm sure he was on a telly programme about sauchiehall st a while back. Bit of a firebrand character IIRC.

eddiemunster
Had the pleasure of eating in The Big Easy whilst down in London, without doubt the best of the current crop of American bbq places I've tried.
Glen Sannox
Went to Five Guys at Fort Kinnaird, impressed with the set up and staff, but wasn't impressed with the burger. IMO the best burger is at Bell's Diner in Stockbridge.
