The problem being that we were better than 7th and it was seen as failure then. Take a look at some of the nobodies who've managed a top 6 finish. Aye, sadly I am & I do, the early to mid 1970's is a long time ago now though...and even they only won a League Cup & a couple of Dryburgh Cups.
