Is Nadal the next Armstrong?

There has always been speculation and roumor that he has always been hammering PEDs , and anyone who knows about body building would only have to look at his build to confirm this, just compare him to other equally fit top players,Murray,Federer and the like ,there's no comparson.

But at the moment it's not an issue in tennis due to there almost non existing testing , or at least public testing

I hope Nadal's not involved but wasn't there hundreds of different blood samples destroyed by a judges orders in the case of the Spanish Doctor involved in the Armstrong litigation?

Yes. Of course it would be completely inappropriate to suggest this was to avoid scandal spreading to successful Spanish sportsmen & teams...

Judging by the size of that arm, I thought he was just a mad keen masterbator.

In all honesty, that's more likely for Andy Murray. Probably rips half his w**k bank from on P&B. Ever notice how his performances picked up after the Babes of Euro 2012 thread was unleashed....

Nothing to with Armstrong but Operation Puerto was the case you're thinking of. Bags of blood and doping plans seized at the property of a gynacologist named Efemiano Fuentes. The names of most cyclists involved leaked, leading to suspensions, but the Spanish authorities managed to supress the names of all people from other sports, including tennis and football.

The samples have yet to be destroyed.

On football, quite an interesting line suggested by him...

I tend to presume most of the top sports players are on drugs that they just dont have a test for yet. Reckon the drug producers are well ahead of the testers. As the tests finally catch up, we then have the 'scandals' that most people were pretty much aware of anyway, but not admitting. By then, a new generation of drugs are made and the cycle continues. Just my uninformed opinion, but reckon there's a good chance it's not too far off.

Do I bother about it? Not any more tbh. Just wish it was more open and we knew who was on what.

For drug conspiracy types like me, the Cycling News forum is always a fun read. Obviously mainly devoted to cycling, but there are threads about other sports as well.

ETA: most sports have a drug problem way in excess of anyone's suspicions. The drug testing in tennis, for example, is pathetic. The only player I can ever recall calling for more drug tests is Andy Murray. He kens.
