Rab B Nesbit
Did you not see him watching the match from the window of one of those houses that look onto Pennypit Park? Ha ha it was played at the 3G by the school instead but no sign of him !
Grim O'Grady
Mind when rented telly's had the 2bob slots, same with the gas an lecky, well my 1970 esso WC coins were the same size as the 2bob an used to work just fine too. The times me mam made me apologise to said gas/lecky/telly mon when they came to empty the box. I've only got Colin Bell left, the buffers stopped giving them me back eventually. Grim O'Grady
Surely Not is a good judge of character & if he says Grim is telling the truth then I tend to believe him. Do we really need Grim to post us a pic of the Colin Bell WC coin? Grimbo
HibeeJibee
Was he no done for insurance fraud on his Ferrari? Can't really remember the details but have a vague recollection of it? There were 3 seperate incidents around the same time. Firstly, he was convicted in June 2012 of possessing cocaine and obstructing police. A charge of perverting the court of justice was ultimately dropped. He was seen by police snorting coke in the back of Land Rover. When asked for his details he tried to give the false name Johnston - but started spelling it "J. O. S"... at which point he ran for it. He was apprehended after a 300m foot chase, "out of breath and shaking". http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-18302010 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-21090842 Secondly, he was convicted in December 2012 of speeding (100mph) and failing to appear at court. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-south-scotland-20701548 Thirdly, he was ultimately cleared in June 2012 of fraud over the writing-off of a Ferrari, which was found abandoned by a railway bridge. He said he'd struck a deer but the authorities claimed a friend had crashed it 2 weeks earlier. It ultimately wasn't led over lack of evidence. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-17940505 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-18367046 EDIT: He was also arrested for drugs offences around Christmas in 2012: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-20585732
