Pirlo was fuckin dreadful tonight. The amount of times he gave away possession or was caught on the ball was staggering. It was like the pace of the game was too much for him. The speed in which Barca move the ball will expose this again in the final, if he starts

Yeah he was. Sad to say but he's finished at that level, total passenger when his team don't have the ball, and not even very good on it tonight.

Madrid will want De Gea not Di Maria.

Absolutely, Iker is absolutely stinking now! I think De Gea is better off at Man Utd - think there going to go through an exciting phase in next couple of years and bring in a lot of new faces. Madrid are going to be in Barcelona's shadow for the near future their front three isn't a patch on what Barca have and they are probably going to get rid of a few players with Ronaldo not getting any younger.

Having said that he is a Spaniard and he may want to be back amongst his own peeps

He had one poor game. He's played a vital part in his team winning the league and getting to a champions league final.

If that's him past it then he still has another 10 years in the game.

I wanted to see a Clasico final - sure it wouldn't have been the best game from a purely football stand-point, but I think Barcelona are going to wipe the floor with Juventus, as they probably would with Madrid. At least with the latter you'd have the histrionics to perhaps derail them.

Hopefully Juve can spring a surprise though. Unfortunately, just by the way Barca are at the moment, you just can't go toe to toe with them. If you do that, as Bayern tried to do, you'll get ripped to shreds.

Two poor games actually, was shite in both legs. And hasn't been very good all season, he's finished at the top level now and has only played in half their league games this year.

Certainly, it's been sad to see the utter disaster Italian football has become. As I predicted some seasons ago, it's now a league where they are actually delighted to get a club through from the group stages to the knockout phase. Below Portugal in the coefficients which is an incredible humiliation, not helped by Juventus' disgusting Champions League performance last season.

Can't see Italy ever being a league that can challenge for the CL final stages for decades. If they scab the odd quarter final one season in 3 that would be success.

Decades.
