RossC93
http://www.three.co.uk/Discover/Phones/Euro_internet_pass I'm looking to use this for 10 days during my holiday (going to Corfu tomorrow). Has anyone tried this before? Is it just 3g that I can use anywhere, unlimited? It says they'll text me to offer it when I get there but how do they know when I get there, considering my phone will be on airplane mode?
KillieCon
I've just used it in Portugal. Once you get there, switch off airplane mode and they will send you a text with a link. I think you can use it for browsing as normal but there are restrictions on streaming.

KillieCon
Not sure, I think it will start charging straight away. They will also switch off your data roaming when the pass runs out at midnight each night. You wont get charged for anything until you agree to buy a new one for the following day. KillieCon
Actually, it might be that streaming is allowed but the quality wont be as good http://support.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBISAPI.DLL?Command=New,Kb=Mobile,Ts=Mobile,T=Article,varset_cat=roaming,varset_subcat=4157,Case=obj%286018%
RossC93
Good stuff. I'll just keep an eye on the Three app as I go along to keep tabs on what I'm being charged for.
Homer Thompson
Mrs X used this on holiday a few weeks ago. Didnt have any problems with it, seemed to work exactly as it should. Compared to my £5 for 150Mb, or whatever it was, from O2 its fantastic

Todd_is_God
Its a good idea, but quite expensive if you are away for more than a few days. Vodafone, I think, do a similar offer for £2 a day; a much fairer price if going away for more than a few nights. I used it in Germany with no issues, but didn't use it in Holland as Wi-Fi is everywhere really now
