Bert Raccoon
BBC wins by quite a bit yet both are pretty poor.
Ya Bezzer!
Alan Shearer looked like he wanted to square go the current England team last night. He was raging. Someone at the BBC please leak the studio footage during the game so we can see what he really thinks of Wayne Rooney, uncensored.
Mr Bairn
Both shite. I just watch on mute and listen to the radio commentary.

Jamaldo
BBC aren't as throat-cuttingly bad as ITV, but I'm still not watching any build up on either channel. You have to laugh at Chiles though. It's almost like he knew people on here would turn off as soon as the final whistle blew in the Uruguay - Costa Rica match to avoid his shite, and decided to give us no time to avoid his inevitable pish, coming out with his "good result for England" nonsense seconds after the final whistle blew
Gordon EF
The BBC are far better in pretty much every department. I do think they should get over their reliance on ex-players and add a few managers or journalists on to the team. MotD 2 is far superior because they have journalists who can talk intelligently about the game but the World Cup coverage is more aimed at the people who watch football once every 4 years or football fans who know very little about the game beyond Match of the Day and FIFA games. Lawro is just a fucking abomination of a 'summariser'. He's being paid to go to Brazil and watch the world cup and he sounds like he detests every minute of it. He's sullen, uninterested and offers absolutely no insight that most football fans wouldn't pick up on themselves. Carlyle thinks he's fucking Steven Hawking because he won some footballers mastermind or something and end up sounding quite thick.
1320Lichtie
The commentators have all been absolutely shite so far, Gary Bloom was atleast enjoying himself The amount of jokes made about Neville today should surely see him approach the next game a bit different? Ie not be a wee quiet dull b*****d!

Jimbo Jagsfan
My missus refused to watch the half-time and full time round up when Neil Lennon was on! To be fair he was total shit and just criticised Samaras.

chomp my root
On the Lawro V Carlisle thing, Carlisle is fairly new to punditry and hopefully will get better with age and practise. Lawro is completely uninspiring and seems to have a sense of entitlement. They all pander to the English fans baser side to ingratiate themselves but Townsend is by fair and away the worst for it. When I used to watch rugby I thought the commentary was a lot less biased and of a better technical level but I've not really watched it for a while so don't know if its still the same. madmitch
The commentating has been woeful. Clark Carlisle and Phil Neville should be sponsored by Nightall. Townsend is Mr stater of the obvious. Lawrenson is an arrogant arse. Tyldesley is xenophobic. Pearce is dense and irritating. At least Gary Bloom is upbeat and mildly amusing.
LBC-91
BBC by a mile. Spot on this year except Juninho who has no idea whats going on. Itv - Chiles, enough said. Ps Cannavaro must be the worse world cup pundit ever on UK tele. Jesus christ min. Sits there with his arms folded, daydreaming.....
Hampden Diehard
No surprise that the BBC are winning by a country mile. Mind you, if they could only punt Lawrenson.....this guy is as funny as the toothache.
