It was good to see Newmains improving during the season. As JCole says your getting at it early...whats the reason? Have you got a lot of new players lined up to sign and just want a good few weeks to look at them. Are you a player or coach Jinlkie?

Still another five weeks till any games can be played. The players will be cracking up. ;-)

The players are desperate to start back. Last game was May 3rd, 7 weeks ago. We've a young group of players, most of whom joined after Xmas from youth or amateur football, & are keen to get a proper junior standard pre-season. They're a enthusiastic group.

Management just took the wishes of the players onboard & starting now.

Good luck, at least they should be fit by the time the games come !

Gary Johnstone

Gary done a lot to help get threw the Cambuslang cup game & Ek Thistle games by getting players to sign & play.

He's like an unpaid football agent for the club & know that he's also been helping Billy McKie in player recruitment for the coming season. Has recommended some right good players.

Is that Scott Cochrane the goalie, ex-Ardeer?
