What's the guy docco position? Coach? Ready made replacement who would no doubt be up for it if the two guys in hot seat don't get it right hope they do well though seem like decent young managers.

Clash commented on transfer thread about Diack and his surprise at him ending up at Ladeside, ... The coach doc will no doubt have had a big say on this transfer and getting Diack to play for an aryshire team,

Meechan has been a let down at the Rose as he has been permanently overweight. Makings of a good player if he he gets fit. Diack has scored a few goals but would have been 5th choice striker. Not sure what to make of Wilson. Didnt get many chances but when he did he looked decidedly average. Good luck to all 3 of them.

All three will do fine - Meechan is a decent player and scores regularly from midfield great passer. Fitness? All about opinions but if you have a decent squad a good 60 minutes does.

Diack given service and support will always get goals .

Wilson - not sure as never really got a chance due to the outstanding McKillen

None of them would have been anywhere near a first pick in the current/emerging Rose squad. Let's not sugar coat this stuff.

Always best to say as is mate.

We signed Brian Welsh fae Lithgae aboot 10 seasons ago, think he had just scored winner in East cup final before he came and a guy called Kennedy.Welshy was a cracking player and was still playing for Glencairn in the Scottish semi against Talbot couple seasons ago.....if they turn oot to give us the 100% every game that Welshy did,we will be ok with that, sometimes it just disnae work oot for players at some clubs like Sawyers at Pollok compared to the way he scored goals at Rob Roy.

They were bought and not given the chances others have been afforded. But that is all down to opinions - Meechan scored more goals than regular starters who played most games.

Surely the real question was why were they bought and not given ample opportunity to establish themselves? What was the plan to add to the squad only?

Meechan played well alongside Shirra - yes maybe his fitness could have been better. But given he was getting in the box and scoring regularly, maybe his fitness was something that could be accepted given you had a squad?

No. Meechan arrived unfit and still appeared less fit than those with whom he was competing for a midfield berth when he left. In between he didn't contribute anything like Shirra or McLennan. He had ample opportunity - the same as everyone else. Diack came at a difficult time but he was given plenty of opportunity - to the point where folk started to wonder how he was getting a game whilst others sat on the side. I actually thought there was a bit of value in Diack but having signed Kelbie the writing was on the wall. The only one who came and left without really getting a crack of the whip was Wilson. And that was because even when the manager changed there was no room for him in the team. He could play left back or not at all and McKillen was excellent in there. Maybe if he'd come in when McKillen got injured against Deveronvale it would have been different. But he wasn't available at that point so that was a bit of tough luck.

They were all bought because they looked good signings on paper. You of all people should know that they don't all work out. Sinnet bought close to 90 players in his time at the club. Every manager does what he thinks will help the club and if you're going to start analysing players Braddo has signed then the additions he made were largely effective and excellent. Happy to discuss on our own thread and leave Kilbirnie to get on with their season though.
