Wrong info on the SJFA North's official site. I was at this game (played at Aberdeen Sports Village). It finished 2-3.

BoDT's site confirms I wasn't hallucinating.

Newmachar Utd will be nomadic again next Saturday (13th).

Their home Div.1E fixture vs Buchanhaven Hearts will be played at Longside.

Fifth home fixture, five different grounds borrowed (Ellon, Culter, Cruden Bay, ASV, Longside).

Some fantastic results highlighted there, great results for Hermes and Colony Park among the best from our region for years.

Didn't go down to Bonnyrigg yesterday looks a creditable result for City though. With our defensive concerns so far this season I expected much much worse. Well done the lads. :)

Cruden Bay I am reliably informed were most unfortunate not to beat Tayport.

The official line below backs that up.

"It was relief more than anything else," said Dave Baikie, in reaction to his side's dramatic late equaliser against Cruden Bay. "We were lucky to come away with a draw and we have to learn lessons from that match.

I felt we were the better side in the first half, but only created one chance, which we didn't take. We changed things at half-time, to become more positive and scored a good goal. I couldn't really see them scoring, but the penalty decision changed the complexion of the game. All of a sudden, Cruden Bay got a lift and our heads went down.

Then we lost Neil Docherty to injury, lost the second goal and went down to ten men when Ryan Suttie was sent off. It looked like we were going out of the competition, but at least we managed to force the equaliser."

I was looking out for you asked a few City fans if you were, your team should be proud of their performance, and it looked like there was goung to be a shock result your keeper had a great game until he dropped the equaliser into his own net under the bar,and was a bit slow goung down for the winner which i think he thought it was going by the post.I actually felt heart felt sorry for them and was hoping they would get a replay.

Inverness stuck at their task well but did play 4-5-1 and mostly 9-1-0, it was very negative but I understand why they did it, the goal they got was a gift but the boy finished it well. Our possession stat must have been about 85-15, but in the end we got away with yin so credit to them for making life very dificult. The best way to describe the result was relief. Certainly alot closer than anyone might have predicted. On the whole I would say the North Region has given a good account of itself with results on Saturday.
