LeedsPhil
I work on the coast at Aberdeen but live ("stay") inland. Beware of using any temperature forecasts for the city. Inland and uphill where Culter's ground is will always be colder than downtown. And even out at the coast, the ground is currently solid. I'd be very surprised if Crombie Park recovers in time, although you can be sure that the good folks at Culter FC will be trying their very hardest since this Saturday (24th) would be the ideal day to get it on, with Aberdeen not having a game (they play Friday at St Johnstone), so more would be available to boost the gate. I've got Pittodrie STH mates who are hoping to do just that. Whereas if it carries over to next Saturday (31st) it will clash with the mass exodus down to Hampden for the League Cup semi-final... footiefanboy
The BBC forecast for Peterculter ( that's the Sunday name for Culter!) for Friday into Saturday suggests temperatures of as low as 1 degree, only rising to 3 degrees by mid afternoon Saturday. Can't really see any way the game will go ahead this weekend ( although I hope I am wrong!)
Heskey
-5 passing the pitch this morning, still frozen covering of snow. I'd say this game will be called off tomorrow unless a big rise in temperatures

Heskey
Sorry I was talking about the surrounding area, I do believe the groundsman has cleared snow from the park but yes it will be hard. Fingers crossed for better temperatures tomorrow. Allegedly a high of 6deg but I'm not too optimistic.
