Gaz FFC
We shouldn't encourage the homeless to sleep anyway.
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
So on top of rise in number of foodbanks needed in Britain 2014 we now have spikes put down to stop homeless people sleeping? Anybody know when Charles Dickens' new book comes out? They could use the spikes as a can opener.
Mr Bairn
Most homeless people are living in some kind of cooncil shelter. The one's that insist on sleeping outside receive no sympathy from me.
Romeo
If there is one thing a thread like this demonstrates its that a lot of people on P&B don't have the first clue about homelessness and its many causes.

cracowjambo
I'm sure they would be devastated if they knew they were receiving no sympathy from you. Never mind the mental health issues and challenges a lot of them may face just surviving, that lack of sympathy from you would definitely be the tipping point. If they want help they can ask for it. They choose to sleep rough and beg they can go sit on a spike
