airdrieman Posted March 31, 2015 Share Posted March 31, 2015 Hurlford signed striker Ryan Donnelly from Ayr United yesterday. How the mighty has fallen. Had one half a season where he looked like being the next big thing before completely falling away, after failing to get a big move to Wigan or Celtic in January, and has never been able to recapture that form at any other club. Not sure of circumstance but he will do a job whoever he does up at in the new season. Must only be mid twenties and has a excellent scoring record over the last few years. He'd be the first to admit that he needs to train and play regularly to be what he was, he can't do either at the moment unfortunately, was quality for us, first guy to hit 20 plus in a season since Robert Downs I think? Anyway cracking player and cracking guy I know what he gave to Arthurlie coming off night shifts two hours sleep them turning up always with a smile on his face.
