Although in the Herald tonight it says they have re-signed 15 players from last season and are sticking to the squad from last season apart from a few experienced players. Need to wait n see. love a tackle Posted June 4, 2014 Share Posted June 4, 2014 Need to add in my opinion,last years squad doesn't have enough quality,hope they get a couple in because their defence is decent and they have a chance if they can build on it! Am sure they will have a few in mind,can be hard to get players to that park though,feels much narrower than it actually is but not a great venue to attract players! IrvineVicsMan Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 After reading last weeks paper and Silky and Stevie saying they were looking to bring in a couple of experienced heads but keep the core of the squad the same as it is just now I'm really looking forward to this season, hopefully these signings are just what we need to stay in this league. Workhorse of a player, can't have enough of them. Callum won players player and poty. Smashing box to box player full of energy and great eye for a pass. The marymass game and ardagh glass game which are usually 2 desperate fixtures are merged this year with the ardagh game getting played on Friday the 22nd! When he played with us he struggled with fitness n to keep up with the pace but in the few performances he picked it up n played well towards the end. Seen them a couple a times and look more than capable and even said in a friendly against Bonnyton last season that we should be looking at Eddie, pace and strength in abundance. Both deals were in the making for months tbh. Eddie scored more than 30 goals for us this season and will be a great asset. Paul also very consistent and solid . I'll watch on with interest .
