Who's the wee  cowrin timrous beastie ? Cathro ?

Again though, that doesn’t work when the ideal next man is sacked and the current head coach leaves a few months later. Kind of derails the whole idea.

But they could have brought in a man who was more in line with this supposed philosophy which is encapsulated within the 'model'. With Cathro the ideas changed completely. That's fine but it proves the model idea was bollocks.

I was quite in favour of Cathro getting the gig at the time and disappointed that he failed. On a separate point it was quickly clear that Cathro had issues communicating and surprising that Levein didn't see the flaw in the idea of appointing him on that basis alone.

Without knowing too much about Jack Ross and St. Mirren last year, how did his style compare with Levein/Neilson?

It’s impossible to tell quite how much of the collapse in form was down to Nielson’s departure and quite how much was down to losing Callum Paterson

But he’d been such a big part of the season thus far that whoever took over would have their work cut out

Good move for Edwards. Also for Hearts as he’s handsome c**t.

I thought he was a stick on for Aberdeen for some reason.

I liked him. I hope he does well at Hearts.
Just don’t waste him at centre mid.

You have just predicted his future at Hearts.

What are you describing as being outwith his control ? Within obvious budget limitations, he's had complete control on the football side

The same budget limitations that Budge ''LIED'' about?

   People can't really be this thick.

Elaborate? Budge had said the new stand won't affect the playing budget.

Instead of Ann making her usual 'statement/outbursts' Levein has come out and said it's affecting his budget to save possible uproar? But it's all goody we almost died.....

Budge did say that it wouldn't.

Levein has said that it is.

So fucking what, though? What are you wanting? A protest? Budge punted in the teeth? To greet like a wee lassie on the internet?

Pro-tip: We're a shite team in a tinpot league in a backward country, and that's not going to change whether we've got enough to sign Ryan Bertrand or if we have to settle for Ryan Edwards. There's ever so slightly more important shit to worry about during this crazy journey we call life, man.

The stand cost wasn’t meant to affect the playing budget. But presumably the £2m cost over-run has to be met from somewhere.

I tell what definitely does affect the playing budget - giving 3 year contracts to unseen players. But long after we have all happily forgotten Martin/Sammon/Oshinawa, the stand will still be earning money for the club.
