He was a solid dependable player which is more than can be said of 1 or 2 of the current squad.
cammy@dunbar
Poor finishing cost us, although it was definitely hand ball in the box and the ref was best placed of anyone to decide if it was deliberate or not. One Dunbar fan was getting quite upset calling the ref a cheat, I guess Junior fitba attracts all sorts. You got one thing right, Junior fitba does attract all sorts, but usually they are fair in their comments when watching their team get beat. Dunbar just about deserved the win , you had the better of the first half and only you can turn a great goalkeeping display into poor finishing, you had a few chances, we had a couple, second half ,we were the better team and took our chances and again our keeper made a great save at the end to help earn his team 3 points ,a penalty, aye right, only you and the ref seen it . But the bit about us being an average team without Sam young was a bit disrespectful. Who said we were anything better than average, we are just glad to have a team on the park and we will let others judge us.

He was a solid dependable player which is more than can be said of 1 or 2 of the current squad. He was a player I always liked having at Millfield, though I didn't think he was ever given the proper chance to shine. Surprised he's been deemed surplus to requirements at Tranent. I think my comments are always fair when commenting on Blackburn games, I call it how I see it and I try not to be too one-eyed although I'm human so it will always be a touch biased. I can see that. Dunbar deserved the points because they scored more goals than Blackburn, but on balance of play most of those associated with Dunbar will thank their lucky stars they got them if they're being honest with themselves. One mans poor finishing is anothers great save [your keeper did have a very good game], one mans stonewaller is another mans cheating. It's a game of opinions afterall. That said, the referee was 5 yards from the [penalty] incident so is best placed to make the call, and all the Blackburn players in the area claimed for it. For the Dunbar numpty to call him a cheat was a little amusing! what referee wants to cheat in favour of us lol! I thought it was a game between two average sides, with Sam Young the difference. Blackburn can play much better than that, they can finish better than that, but can Dunbar? it's a question I can't answer. So I called it how I saw it, no disrespect intended. You have said our keeper had a very good game and Sam Young made the difference, IMO surely our GK was the difference in us restricting you to one goal. Far too many times ,people don't see the big picture, yes Sam can put them away, even when not playing well, but he has contributed as has Connor to the good start we have had, even if people think we are average, long may it continue. Pistol88
Dunbar utd 3-0 Livingston utd... Sam Young, Chris Grant and a trialist were the scorers, really should of been a more convincing win for Dunbar with quite a few missed chances, although Livingston did have a penalty saved in the 2nd half, Livingston keeper let his team mates down by being sent off early doors for attacking a Dunbar player when he was on the ground after a 50/50 challenge with the keeper, forcing an outfield player having to go between the sticks who to be fair to him did relatively well considering including saving a penalty but couldn't stop the rebound going in, I think I recognised this keeper from crossgates last season?? A similar incident happened in that game with him losing the head after another 50/50 challenge.... The boy clearly has anger issues! If it is in fact the same guy which I'm pretty sure it is

cammy@dunbar
Strange game today. Livingston were on top early doors and the turning point was the keeper being sent off, Dunbar hit the post. H/T 0-0 The second half will be remembered for the chances that were missed and the stand in keeper playing really well. Livvy missed a penalty ,which Connor Wood saved , he also tipped a goal bound shot on to the bar and they also hit the post from a free kick. We scored 3 times, not a good game, but another 3 points on the board. We could have been so out of sight, yet looked like we were hanging on at times. We have done well to win the first 4 games and I am honest enough to say I didn't think we would have, but we have and well done to all at the club. number4
West Calder 1 Rosyth 1 ,Jason penman with our goal, thought we played well the first half and went in ht 1 up,they changed there shape the second half and came into it a bit more then west Calder scored and we got a boy sent off for stupidly and ended hanging on at the end,we created a few chances the second half but couldn't kill them off,ref played offside today and a few descions for both teams were maybe suspect but at least he had the balls to be consistent with them, feels like a defeat but a draw a fair result in the end in my opinion ,both sides were very similar
Joe swanson
If livi don't get there keeper sent off today they win the game it was that simple...In complete control of the game until that point. Deserved at least a point today. Also can't honestly believe dunbar have won 4 from 4 they really weren't anything special today and judging from what I heard from there supporters at the side neither can they
