TheKite
Tranent beaten 3-0 at home to Dunbar . Poor performance from the home side . Dunbar fully deserved there win . Could've been more .
Simmy87
Livi 0-2 Whitburn Whitburn scored early of from a corner that was cleared but only to the taker John Watson who pumped the ball back in for Jordan Bain to fire a looping header into the back of the next. After that it became more of an even game with the referee make decisions that no one else could see. Second half was and even game until Whitburn put on King and moved Dewi to the right wing and almost instantly Whitburn went up 2-0 with a good Gary Brass goal. Good to get 3points on the board ahead of Haddington on Saturday

Extremely poor performance from Tranent tonight. A lack of goals looks like it will be the main problem this season.
Blackagnes
Good win for Dunbar but a really poor Tranent side. Plenty harder games to come so not getting carried away.

whitburn exile
From a neutral view point of tranent last night. Number 2 and 4 were poor at the back despite the keeper telling them what they needed to do. Number 5 wearing the captains arm band could do with loosing a couple of lbs and doing more organising as it was mainly the keeper shouting and organising. Number 7 needs to calm down as lucky not to be sent off last night. They also need to be quicker to the 2nd ball. Thought the keeper did well (apart from his moaning at the ref how he can tell someone's on or offside at the other end of the pitch I don't know. Funny moment when he claimed offside and his own player said no as so and so was playing him on.

TTF
First time ive seen Tranent since last season and they offered absolutely nothing going forward and shaky at the back Who have they signed and who has moved on ? Seen big ross feegs and at least 3/4 other players from last season watching last night have these boys released? surely better option than what was on display last night

Seen big ross feegs and at least 3/4 other players from last season watching last night have these boys released? surely better option than what was on display last night Tranent were not very good last night, too many young players with very little experience. It's only the first game so shouldn't be too negative but it looks like they have went backwards from last year. Losing there best player in Berry certainly doesn't help. From a Dunbar perspective, I can only take positives. A clean sheet and numerous chances created. It was far from a great display but got over the line with plenty to spare. Looks like we have some depth in the squad this year which can only help. Harthill next up at Hallhill on Saturday.
