~~~ Posted May 22, 2014 Author Share Posted May 22, 2014 I think if he gets sacked Lambert would be the obvious choice. So by that logic it wont happen Nah, apparently Lambert knocked us back before, can see him trying to get another gig in England if he's sacked Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Wee Dee Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Good riddance to the wee ginger p***k. Concerns over playing budget yet they have probably 30x the budget of most teams in Scotland. What a fud Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
1320Lichtie Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Boy is overrated IMO. Will get found out down south. Hopefully Celtic bring in someone who gives their young guys a chance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dr Koop Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 The next manager has to be someone who is willing to give a chance to our youngsters rather than just continue to buy players This guy? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TheGreenMonster Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 I agree with that.....can see why your board would want that. Can see why every board would want that especially if you already have the quality of young players there ready to get their chance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Iain Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 There's no point paying big wages to a guy like Coyle or Mackay when you're going to get the same results from a guy like Larsson or McNamara. No matter who Celtic appoint they're going to win the league, probably at least one cup and either make the Champions League groups or the Europa League groups depending on the last qualifying round draw. May as well appoint one of the guys with lower wages and higher fan appeal. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SaintDougie Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Celtic to play youngsters next season and bring in a complete novice of a manager. Right everyone else, race to the title finish line? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted May 22, 2014 Author Share Posted May 22, 2014 We should hire Derek Adams. Not for him managerial abilities but purely for the seethe factor. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Right, but if they appoint an actual manager this time then they might get further. Look at Atletico Madrid. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I do think Sellick now have a problem with the direction they are going in though. They know what is going to happen before every season and there doesn't seem to be much of a plan as it's pretty much impossible for them to do anything in Europe.Crowds of 20/25k will become the norm before too long.
