Cowdenbeath 2014/15 Championship Thread

Recommended Posts

Quick heads up re match arrangements for 2014/15 as follows:

Category A League games (v Rangers, Hibs, Hearts). Away fans will be accommodated on the South and West Terracings. Home fans (plus Hospitality and other guests, club officials, press, etc) will be in the New and Old Stands. These games will be all ticket and please note that all stand tickets will have specific numbered seats allocated to each ticketholder. Season ticket holders will be asked to arrange to pick up a ticket in exchange for their match voucher. The normal maximum number of tickets that can be purchased per fan for the home end will be 2 per person.

Category B League games (v the other six championship clubs). Away fans will be accommodated on the West Terracing and old stand. Home fans (plus Hospitality and other guests, club officials, press, etc) will be located in the New Stand and south terracing. These games will not be all ticket.

Please therefore note that all League games will be subject to segregation.

What does that mean for the terracing at the scoreboard? A trip to Cowden wouldn't be complete without a conversation with the locals standing there :(

Happy with that. Would like to see a voucher system at the home game prior to a category A game to guarantee a ticket for the next game.

Think it would encourage a few to go to the game prior to the rangers game and maybe hearts/ hibs depending on circumstances.

I have no problem with any fan from any team visiting my home town. If they want to support their team whoever they are, will be welcomed by me. No prejudice in Cowdenbeath hopefully.

Where's the prejudice? The only prejudice will be the sectarian bile they bring with them and the trouble that follows then everywhere they go. Add that to the majority of the locals supporting Rangers as well it's just a vile thought.

True. Was in partners the day we played QOS and they were playing through at east end, loads of them were in there and upstairs going through their vile songbook.
