Cowdenbeath 2014/15 Championship Thread

Recommended Posts

Things would be much simpler for us if we were in control of our own destiny. The Brewsters owning the club is a noose around our neck and we seemingly have no way of removing it. If we couldn't do it when we were in the Championship, then there's less likelihood of it happening now. Surely a Cowdenbeath fan will win the Lottery 1 day! Get praying Ron!

I got praying at Alloa on Saturday, Stuart, and we got gubbed.

Take it your thinking of Jonathan Johansson under 20 coach at Motherwell?

Now that sounds really interesting. Mixu would give him good encouragement - after all, look what being manager at CP did for Mixu's career - now boss of Finland. As long as we don't appoint a dinosaur...

Just remember Ron, as the original Kierkegaard said "All good things come from above". Hope that Helicopter visits Central Park again next year with Cowdens trophy

Maybe JJ could bring in some promising Finnish players as well as good SPFL loan players. Pity we can't just loan most of the team.

Any updates for the shift workers?

1 update for you just now Stevie. Fans who were there voted to keep the season ticket price for League 1 the same as the Championship. Board never suggested that, the fans in attendance suggested it. Meeting was very well attended, so the board have got our support.

Would hope the gate prices get reduced even by a couple of quid cant see anybody wanting to pay 15-16 quid to see Albion rovers tbh Dunfermline yes but not as mentioned teams tbh.. Happy with season ticket prices staying the same tho.. Tbf al be buying one but was thinking for people who don't buy a season ticket..

Very good turnout tonight.

Challenging times ahead for sure but if we all pull together help out where we can whether that be on match day, fundraising, committee membership etc we can hopefully be very proud at the end of the season

I am feeling optimistic already about next season so long as we all pull together and get right behind our new team and look forward to seeing who our new manager will be.

Hope there is just as a good turnout next week.
