Cowden316
Didn't think we played badly today Very light up front but had 2 great chances from Robbo and Sutherland. Brownlie outstanding Thomson had an amazing save from Nat, looked like an og all the way. Bad mistake from Robbo cost us sadly. Also thought Campbell done ok Fair summary. Felt bad for Robbo as he played well.
big al
Details on the Dunfermline page why they released him. A mixture of fitness and freeing up money. If you read the Dunfermline threads they were apparently paying his digs. 7 goals out of 14 will do me though. releasing your top scorer to free up money? An unusual move. Whats the money for? A not so frequent scorer.

Won pretty much every header all day. Every player today worked hard. Undone by a simple human error in the end. Wish we had started with sutherland up front with higgins. Suspect a different outcome if we had.

Maybe they are saving money for next season and accepting they will be a part time football club next season.???? Or Gozie has asked to be released to play for the big Fife team. big al
Agree with other boys. well done brownlie. Barely put a foot wrong. Hard to believe he has hardly had a game all season. Stick in son. if i was brownlie my toys would have been out the pram months ago.

big al
You're right Iain Campbell played OK todayhe did as well as he can. He doesn't have the athletic ability to do much better at this level. Raith keeper continually aimed at him so 7 could win the header.
CowdenConvert
Sorry lads but Jimmy has to go now. Our results against the teams around us are disgraceful. The team selections have been astonishing and the signings (not loans) absolutely bizarre. At what point will the board decide enough is enough? Is defeat at Livi next week the final nail or do we lurch on for another few weeks devoid of ambition to win a match?

HoBNob
Top scorer with 7 from 14 you say? Wonder why they released him? He wasn't that great, his all around game is lacking. Would be genuinely surprised if he pulled up many trees for Cowdenbeath. He'll be on a decent wage aswell.

He'll be on a decent wage aswell. We have a habbit of taking 'lacking' players from other teams and turning them into something useful. Armand Óne anyone? Sadly this doesn't apply to Sir Ian of Campbell.

Ebanda's Handyman Services
he did as well as he can. He doesn't have the athletic ability to do much better at this level. Raith keeper continually aimed at him so 7 could win the header. That's a tactic we employ when Anderson is playing against most teams. I don't think it was aimed at Campbell because he was seen as a weakness.
Muzza81
Campbell wasn't near our worst player, Milne and Higgins can fight that one out.

wulliemc
I think Higgins needs a partner. He does all the running up there on his own with little support and nowhere to go. Look at the queens game when he had someone to work with he was outstanding. Milne has struggled since he came back from injury imo
Muzza81
Higgins might run but he holds absolutely nothing up, everything bounces off him. Regardless of his isolation (he has had a partner in some games) he contributes very little. He's not contain material, give it to Marshall.
