Coming out with stuff about plastic pitches and the like and now this. Celtic are within their rights to act as they have and I hope we are doing the same with other clubs. I think Jackie's right. They're entitled to sign him on a pre contract but if they want him now they should approach the club before going public.I heard Lawell turned up with a briefcase filled with £500 notes and was told to GTF. There's not really a great deal in that article to get upset about. I presumed it'd be a short term job. From the little I remember, he was seen as a more than capable replacement for Ojama at Motherwell, and he's pretty handy. I was underwhelmed when it first broke that he was the striker we were after but having rewatched some of his goals for Motherwell last season I'm a bit more hopeful and am going to give him my full backing if he makes appearance on saturday. It'll be good to have another option up front to either take Ciftci off or drop him further back given that Dow up front hasn't really worked when we've tried it and Super Mario's been unfit or injured. Yeah we needed another option upfront, not to compete with Celtic as many have suggested throughout the season but to compete with Aberdeen and the rest of the pack for Europe.
