banana
From the article in the Tele: This latest cash injections mean almost all the “soft” loans from wealthy fans that wiped out the bank debt last year can be paid off early. That will leave only the several million owed to the Thompson family on the books as debt. They are not looking to get any of that back any time soon. This is... quite the change of plan, Mr Tamson. Assuming the journalist is setting the correct tone here. Also, how many fcuking times are we going to be 'virtually debt free'? That's post-Gauld, post-Robbo and post-GMS-Stretch, by my reckoning. Granny Danger
It's refreshing to see that many Arabs can now see Mr Thompson for what he is. A gobshite.Yeah you are right. Rather than having a family of genuine supporters who have ploughed millions into the club over many years, albeit not as wisely as they might have, I wish we had had the succession of bandits, incompetents and Walter Mitty types that Dundee FC has had.Just bad luck on our part. Never mind. 6-2, eh?
eindhovendee
Thompson says we owe him millions. What the f**k is going on? Tom Duthie @tomduth · 10m 10 minutes ago Dundee Utd financial debt to Thompson family six figures, not seven as I wrote yesterday. My mistake, apologies. #honesttom Good wind up from Tam. ETA another tweet from him. Gibby82
Some sensational tinfoil hat stuff on United Mad following that erroneous tweet from Duthie. The idea that ST is doing an excellent job as chairman and has the club's best interests at heart doesn't seem to register with some of our fans, most of whom treat ST's financially reckless father as a United legend. Believing anything written with their rags without doing your own research is daft. As for ST, well, I am a fan these days. He has done a good job, and he has never been afraid to speak out in the club's interests. I do however tire of hearing his comments about putting millions in, that he will never see again. It strikes of a 'look at me, I'm awesome' attitude.
