Had a look at the accounts not so sure, can any accountants confirm? If you are correct then they lost about 2.2m and the year before nearly 3m. Insurance payout was only till the end of the season so it won't be much.

There were losses of about £2.2m after the transfer fees received, but before insurance that'll go through the 21/22 accounts that fills that hole. Dave (and possibly other shareholders) covered the £3.something loss  in the previous year by buying shares shares (October /November 2020 in the accounts- presumably cash was covered in the year with soft loans that got partly repaid with ST cash) which pretty much means they know they won't see that again.

We do, however have £75m to find for our sexy new stadium so i doubt all fees will go into the playing budget.

(not an accountant by the way)

I understand the model is to sign unfancied players and develop them, but the stakes are high.

I thought the new model was to try and play a team exclusively of wingers, rather than the previous policy of only central midfielders?

McGrath is the only one I'd touch from the Utd signings.

You wouldn't take levit

Of course I would. I was replying to tarapoas message about the safe SPFL signings

Says creative midfielder. Let’s hope he is.

A very one-footed creative midfielder if that goal against Blackburn is anything to go by.

A warm north-east welcome.

Haha, aye as everyone knows if you score a goal but don't use both feet and your head in the buildup you're pretty much guaranteed to be a donkey.

What a debut from the lad. Wonderful technical ability and will get the fans excited. Not a defensive player that's for sure but already the understanding from him and Ramadani is promising.

Only Disappointment was both Coulson and Roberts got injured. I was really impressed with Coulson against Celtic and in the opening 10 mins today you could tell he's a good player. Hopefully they are both back soon.

I'm really excited about our chances of a good season. Look forward to the Motherwell match and furthering the good feel factor surrounding the club.

Poor refereeing not to give a red for that.

It was reckless and stopping a promising move at the same time.

I hated him as a Dons player.

I can legitimately & openly say I despise the c**t now that he’s thankfully been punted.

Should never have signed the piece of shit in the first place.

He’s a fucking coward who teams up with mates to take on one bloke on with a baseball bat.

Wish nothing but misery on the c**t at St Mirren.
