Agent talk.

Lazy. Maybe under McInnes but we've shown we're looking in to different markets.

At recent Q&A session Burrows mentioned we nipped in ahead of Hibs for Pollock so not completely away from signing up whoever Hibs are interested in.

Fish, Pollock and Scales is a back line that would put the fear of cod into a lot of clubs in this league.

Cheers sheep.

The deal which is worth a reported £2 million will see Rangers receive a sell-on fee, implemented by Ross Wilson following McCrorie's transfer to the Dons back in 2020, with the initial loan move becoming a permanent deal in 2021.

McCrorie has had a successful spell down south before when a loan spell at Portsmouth earned him high praise.

Now, Rangers are set to land a £200,000 boost with a £2m fee reportedly agreed between Aberdeen and Bristol City

Liverpool only willing to let Fabio Carvalho leave on loan but will listen to Leighton Clarkson offers

Liverpool will listen to offers for Leighton Clarkson as they continue their midfield rebuild this summer — but Fabio Carvalho is only available on loan.

Clarkson is expected to secure a permanent move after a productive season on loan at Aberdeen.

The 21-year-old academy graduate, who has made three senior appearances for Liverpool, scored six goals and contributed nine assists in 38 matches for the Scottish Premiership club as he helped them qualify for Europe.

However, with competition for places in Jurgen Klopp’s squad increasing with further incomings in midfield expected following the signing of Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister, Clarkson’s development is set to continue elsewhere.

Aberdeen are keen to retain his services and the Englishman is also attracting interest from other Scottish top-flight clubs and a number of Championship teams.

While Liverpool are open to selling Clarkson, senior Anfield figures remain adamant that Carvalho isn’t available for a permanent transfer.

Liverpool recently rejected a bid of around £10million (£12.4m) from RB Leipzig for the former Fulham youngster, whose game time dwindled during the second half of the season.

There are a number of loan offers from Premier League clubs on the table and a temporary switch is still regarded as the most likely outcome this summer. Fulham, who sold him to Liverpool for £7.7million last year, is one possible destination for him.

Liverpool will set their sights on other midfield targets following the imminent signing of Mac Allister, who underwent a medical on Tuesday.

Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch, Nice’s Khephren Thuram, Southampton’s Romeo Lavia, Borussia Monchengladbach’s Manu Kone and Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga have all come under consideration as Liverpool establish who is available and at what price.

However, they have no interest in Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie. Reports in Spain had suggested that Liverpool were willing to pay £30million for the Ivorian but his name doesn’t feature on the club’s shortlist.

I don't think there is a chance tbh.

If the interest in Scotland is from either of the arse cheeks then he's there.

We can't compete wages wise but he'd be more likely to play.

The cheeks would be a short termist option, if they're even interested.

Will be very surprised if he comes back to us. Ideally you would hope he would as more chance of playing week in week out learn his trade and make a McKenna style move. Unfortunately money talks for players these days and will come to to whoever offers the more money

I still think Clarkson will be back. Celtic have no need for him and I can't see him at the the bustard garden. They still have a few central midfielders plus they've just signed Kieran Dowell.

Clarkson knows he'd be first pick here. So if he aspirations of cutting it in the EPL then he needs to be playing week in week out
