With Gurr also supposedly on the move, that would leave us a little short in the right back area unless Ojo will be seen as cover for Right back?

Interesting, because that's not what MainstandMoan suggested... "McGrath deal likely. Kennedy presently being offered as make weight." ...so you don't suddenly starting impressing over the last couple of days so either.. 1. MainstandMoan was guessing using the common held rumours. 2. St Mirren didn't want Kennedy and/or McGrath isn't happening until at least the summer. 3. Aberdeen's hoping to attract potential suitors for Kennedy by suggesting he's impressing.

Kennedy’s back is fucked, he won’t be coming to us.

I thought those two were completely useless so we were always a little short in the right back area?
Irrational Behaviour
Must be the busiest January window I can recall. Everyday, it feels like something will happen. Speculation over the futures of Ferguson, Hedges, Gurr, Campbell & Ramsay. Speculation over whether Broom, McGrath, McGandles, Clark & Odumoso will join us. Barron recalled and new contract signed. Hancock out on loan after signing a new contract. Ritchie signs a new contract. Hanratty joins Elgin after being at Formartine. MacIver and Gallagher return from their loans. Finally, we punted Longstaff and Samuels and brought in Polvara who nobody knows what he'll be like. Probably missed something too. Club trying to be proactive and get business done early. I would still expect something to go down right to wire come the end of the window.
Dons_1988
I’d expect if there’s a deal to be done on McGrath this window it’ll go down to the wire.
coprolite
I'd guess McGrath coming in Jan is contingent on getting a fee for Hedges to go early? If Hedges is leaving would prefer us to change now rather than in the summer. Get McGrath up to speed for Europe.

Think it is more a case of getting the rest of your squad up to Jamie's experience.

I meant up to speed with Glassball though. He'll need to learn to play loads of passes without any purpose or direction.

He meant get him up to speed so he's fully integrated rather than thrown in to games immediately with guys he's just met. Just like Kenny McLean.

I’m sure I’ve read that playing in Scotland against such poor opposition actively hinders progress in Europe

And, of course, has plenty of experience in the League Cup group stages with Saints that he can hopefully pass onto our boys if required in the summer...
