DrewDon Posted July 25, 2020 Share Posted July 25, 2020 (edited) My concern about playing Anderson wouldn't be his ability (although I didn't think he made the most of his admittedly limited opportunities last season), but that he is such a different type of striker to Cosgrove and Main that he won't fit the style that McInnes usually favours, especially against a team like Rangers. Also puts more emphasis on our defenders having to play out from the back rather than immediately hit the striker, which isn't a bad thing in itself but I'd be concerned that, while all our defenders have their strengths, good distribution isn't always one of them. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I see your point, I wouldn't fancy Anderson's chances holding off defenders & holding up play.
