gannonball
Surprised Russel wasn’t kept around till at least they decided who was coming in. Was he not credited with the set piece routines? -
kingjoey
From the personal side of things I feel really sorry for Stephen Glass. He uprooted his family from the US and eleven months later he’s binned. What does he do now, stay here or go back over the Atlantic? From an Aberdeen fan side of things, after yesterday he had to go and given his BBC Scotland interview post match he thought (or knew) that he was not going to be in charge on Tuesday.

Fenlon resigned on 1 November after a League Cup defeat while sitting 6th in the league after 11 games. Butcher's first game in charge was 23 November in the 14th game of the season. Fenlon went as it was clear he was never going to establish them in the top six, and no one thought there was any chance of them slipping back into a relegation battle. I don't think that's really comparable to Glass, because he was already looking like he was dragging Aberdeen into the relegation battle: he was closer to being a total catastrophe in the mould of Terry Butcher than consistently below par without being a disaster in the mould of Pat Fenlon. That doesn't necessarily mean you won't replace him with someone even worse, but it would be an incredible feat. You'll certainly have dozens of options with a better pedigree than Glass, as there no doubt were when he was appointed as well.

HarleyQuinn
I'm genuinely concerned the club will get it wrong again. Also I'm not sure what benefit we are getting with this Atlanta Utd partnership. We've been loaned a few duds and taken on a coach who failed miserable. The Hernandez fiasco too.
