Thanks for that glaringly obvious observation. He wasn’t scoring at Bradford or Kidderminster FFS

It’s early days with Glass and Russel but already signs there they improve players, maybe this lad is one they think can step it up. .As for this lads loan moves some work out some don’t . Mckenna at Ayr is good example .. Liking the lad has pace which we sadly lack . Might be great option for late in games. I am sure that other signings will arrive .But it’s all about Thursday and that’s going to dictate more exciting moves . Ferguson is another. Regards Ruth not getting chance. I’ve seen him play quite few times and nae been impressed . Just nothing in his play stood out. But it’s early days and not seen enough him and he could indeed make the step up. Can see him going out loan again though . Centre half is where we badly need the depth . What about a cheeky bid for halkett at hearts.I know he hasnt exactly been brilliant at hearts but a proven partnership with gala her

Guest Bob Mahelp
I think that we've just got to trust our scouting network on this one. I was critical of our signing policy 6 weeks ago but most of the players that have come into the club....Brown, JET, Ramirez, Gallagher, Jenks....have slotted in well and have either hit the ground running or are still finding their feet but are obviously decent players. Only Gurr looks like the odd one out, but maybe he'll put that nightmare in Kirkcaldy behind him. On top of that, Glass is cultivating 2 of the best young fullbacks in Scotland, so he obviously believes that if you're good enough, you're old enough. We desperately need strengthening up front, so if Glass thinks these 2 youngsters can do a job, let's get behind them.
betting competition
Sam Cosgrove "He's only scored 1 goal in his career" "Why are we signing a dud from Carlisle United?" The negativity of Aberdeen fans is quite entertaining with them judging a player before they even get a chance to watch him play. With an option to buy, weighted in the clubs favour? Ramirez is the main striker, having a young lad coming in to work under a specialist coach, and some well thought of youth developers in Glass and Apaloo, is not my idea of a wolf in sheep's clothing re Cormack. The money, in my opinion, will be directed to a centre half. You misunderstand me. I was only referring to the fact that he will be a Wolves player and will be turning out for the sheep! I have no issue with Cormack
Dons_1988
I am not Pre judging this lad but fair to say the Bradford fans didn’t think much of him.

Suspect Device
Cosgrove was a great signing all round. Got him cheap, got a good few goals from him then a fair old transfer fee. All the time the fans knowing he wasn't really that good.

It's a pretty remarkable saga, probably unmatched in Scottish football. Came from nowhere, was rubbish for a year, then hit such a run of scoring form that at one point he was battering in a goal every 2 games (for what it's worth, he scored 31 goals in 79 games for us, Hans Gillhaus scored 27 in 78 and Duncan Shearer 'only' scored 55 in 152 games). I believe that in modern times....since the 1960's....his goals per game record has only been bettered by Joe Harper and Frank McDougall. Then we sold him for 2 million, and he's disappeared pretty much back into obscurity 8 months later. Bizarre.

An astonishing turn from McInnes frankly, on a par with the feeding of the five thousand.

Suspect Device
So is it Cosgrove or McInnes who we're saying is bigger than Jesus? Miraculous either way.
