Only worry with McCrorie is that Mcinnes moves him around too much, trying to give game time to others.

I had a wee shudder during McInnes's interview where he talked about McCrorie playing 'wherever I ask him'.

Sky showed today that McCrorie and Ferguson were tied together in the centre of the park.....where they should be.....and never gave Hibs a kick all day.

Keep it like that.

The last two performances has made me very positive about this Aberdeen team season.

Al the new signings look good, Hayes hasn't lost his speed yet, Hoban if fit is an amazing player, Watkins has been so positive with his speed and also hold up play, while the McCrorie looks amazing in defence or Midfield.

The last 2 seasons have been disappointing the type of Football we have played but there is no excuses this season.

McCrorie is (deservedly) getting the plaudits, but it's true that Watkins looks....amazingly...to the manner born.

A guy that only a few of us remember from ICT comes out of nowhere and right from the start shows the intelligence, application and ability to lead the line. It's impressive.

We only have him until January on loan....we should be looking at getting him in permanently, especially with Cosgrove leaving.

If Cosgrove is sold this summer I can see us potentially trying to make Watkins stay a permanent one.

Main has been better for us than I expected when he signed, but Watkins brings a different dimension to both him and Cosgrove. It's been a concern for a while that having Cosgrove or even Main as your centre-forward makes it too tempting just to lump the ball up. Watkins doesn't carry the goal threat that Cosgrove does, but he forces us to play a bit more football and is better with the ball at his feet.

no an Aberdeen fan(many of my family are), however, this very true, hail mary baws every time he plays. Aberdeen are better than that, it's just an easy option when he plays. I would grab the money for him now and get back to playing fitba, rather than hoofba.

Watkins would be a good replacement for Main and Anderson.

However I think we'd be looking to find a goalscorer to replace Cosgrove when he leaves which presumably is now looking like Jan 31st 2021.

Watkins looks a decent enough signing and helps the team play a better style of football, but a concern with him must be how many goals will he score?

Dont think he has been prolific in the past either.

Everyone raving about McCrorie, and some of it is a tad over the top. He’s playing well but definitely needs to improve in possession.

For me Hoban has been very comfortable in the 2 recent games he has played and can become even more influential with more games. He deserves an injury free run surely.

He was excellent yesterday. If he can stay fit, I would like to see him and McKenna get a run of games together, either as a centre-back pairing or as part of a three with Considine or Taylor.

Preferably not Taylor for me but yes Hoban and McKenna have the makings of something good there.
