Don't be a p***k. This isn't about politics it's about health issues and saving lives. Your team is the only guilty party in this crisis. Deflection is for cowards. Dons should be ashamed and hopefully get financially hammered by the SPFL. Deservedly IMO.

a) Absolutely. However the fact that Aberdeen aren't defending their players position certainly points in a particular direction. Would be delighted if any of them come out an say 'I guarantee that on Saturday night I observed all protocols on distancing'.

b) The rules on social distancing are very clear indeed. There may be other rules in play that are specific to football which do seem rather esoteric and poorly understood.

It's altogether possible that there's been a different, or possibly more infractions, but it does seem that in attending a crowded gathering of strangers in what seemed a very tightly-packed environment, and subsequently testing positive, they've not really left much wiggle room for speculation.

The point is that we only know that Aberdeen players have breached the protocols. Given that we don't know what the protocols are, people are speculating about what they have or haven't done. It seems possible that the breach occurred as soon as they entered a pub, not because of what they did once they were in there.

Pretty sure it's a freeview but McInnes press conference is up on redtv.

No more than 3 players in a changing room at the same time all week but our players think it’s fine to go on the piss on a Saturday night ?

Fucking hell.

5 scots, an Englishman and and 2 Irishmen walk into a bar. "National shame please!" "Covid right up" replies the barman!

So three of the players are out injured anyway. Cosgrove, Devlin and McGeouch.

Don't think Mcgeough's injured. Was an unused sub against Rangers?

Lollercopters.  Absolute lollercopters.  “None of us could have foreseen the escalation of Covid-19 cases...”  It’s a fucking pandemic, you absolute halfwits.  I realise footballers have a reputation for being thick, but that’s just taking the piss.  Somehow Jonny, Michael, Scott, Matty, Sam, Dylan, Craig and Bruce (the worst boyband of all time?) come out looking even worse after that.

What difference does this make?

So Bruce Anderson given the chance of a lifetime to be the first choice striker for the next couple of weeks. After a nothing performance against Rangers...decide to go out for a meal and then a drink in soul if all places....
Craig Bryson waxes lyrical about how this season he's determined to improve and make his mark on the team. Runs about like a headless chicken without producing anything against rangers....decided to go out
Dylan McGeouch has had one good performance for the team since January and is probably on one of the highest wages at the club....decides to go out
Scott Mckenna has voiced his displeasure at not getting to move last summer. Desperate for a move this summer to a bigger club for much bigger money....decides to go out
