Baldie1980
So it looks like boyd is signing for the rangers, what striker do you think we will go for now.
d31
Boyd remains number 1 target but Higdon, Mckay and taylor be the others
uni
Would happily take Higdon, McKay or Boyd (although the latter seems unlikely now). We do need another striker but I still think full back is urgently needing addressed.
Jute
Are Higdon and McKay not still under contract? If they are then they will be non starters as board already said we will not be paying a fee for anyone this summer.
AR851903
Think Higdon can leave NEC as they got relegated. Bit concerned that 3 strikers are gone and we haven't replaced at least one yet.. Edited June 22, 2014 by AR851903
d31
Higdon is free to go. McKay we have enquired about in previous windows - but yes would involve coughing up some cash

Menzel
How much did Aberdeen get for him then? Unless I'm having a massive WHOOOSH moment, his contract was cancelled, so...
Inverg-don
So daily mail reporting Boyd about to sign for Sevco obviously money talks again
st_patricks_atheltic_1929
2-2 after an hour. Rooney and McGinn hit back for us. We were much stronger in the first half could have been 4/5 up at the break, 2nd half we made a few changes, brought on a trialist and some reserves and some wasters. you guys took control and could have won the game. Overall a decent workout for both sides and a fair result. Good luck for the season ahead. G-MAN
So daily mail reporting Boyd about to sign for Sevco obviously money talks again The same article has now been changed. He now "hopes" to sign. Dundee Utd now mentioned in article following their lie that AFC were about to sign him. Sevco PR at its finest, wonder how many ST they shifted this afternoon.
AberDon
Darren Ferguson saying on the BBC that we've offered a contract to Danny Swanson. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28020428
Raidernation
Aye, and going to be outbid, contract wise, by League one teams by the sounds of it
glenrothes 1884 saint
Swanson would give Peter Pawlett baby some competition in the diving stakes at least, cheating wee scrote!
AberDon
Where does it say that? Am I being dense? (Don't answer that) Swanson, meanwhile, was also offered fresh terms at Posh following a mixed season that saw the 27-year-old Scot play 49 times. "I thought he was going to go to Aberdeen but I spoke to him recently and he felt he had a couple of offers from League One clubs which were more tempting," he said. "We made him an offer and he turned it down and we wish him well."

akredz
Well, as we seem to be short of strikers,, we better make sure our defence is solid. Maybe we're going to the greek, sit in, approach
