The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23

Of course it’s a missed opportunity

That is, if we are to strive for the slightest bit of progress

Look at the points we have dropped recently:

Hamilton away

St Mirren away

Motherwell away

United home

County away

Balls to previous season’s point totals we should be winning most of them but we didn’t pick up 3 points in any

As in when he got a run in at the sevco goalie in the first half recently?

Personally I thought he embarrassed himself with that effort.

He's not faultless and would have at least got that on target last season.

I'm amazed that a player with no redeeming features or skills whatsoever has managed to score as much and generate a £2m bid.

Any transfer window news?

The Mcinnes argument has gone round in circles for 2 years now. A few weeks off now and again would be good.

I saw a jpg of a message from Greg Stewart when someone private messaged him "Please don't come to Aberdeen", "Don't worry Kid, would rather retire" - I think it was fake.

There we go, that's the sort of nonsense I was after.

It was a bad effort but that's a bit overdramatic.

Should we be winning these games, yes, on paper we should. However, this is what I mean when I've previously said that there is a sense of entitlement creeping into the Aberdeen support.

Going back to the 4-0 at Ibrox, we were on 26pts from 13 games. Since then we've picked up 13 pts from 9, including the 5 fixtures you listed above. So let's say we won 3 and drew 2, that's an extra 7 points so we would have 46 points from 22 games, which would still only have us level on points with Celtic. And we'd still have had to beat County at home, ST J at home and Killie away. Yes, we should win most of the games against the teams you listed, the fact that we do, more often than not is why we consistently finish in the upper reaches of tbe league.

Creeping in! I'd say the sense of entitlement is one of our supports defining characteristics

No surprise to see your bootlicker manager backing up Neil Lennon, then refusing to give any actual details.

Saying that he has voiced concerns is not the same as backing up neil lennon.

Would you rather he named names?

Yes.

He's clearly hinting at us and Hamilton, so either come out and say it so it gets dealt with instead of slithering around making vague accusations, or don't bother saying anything.

This wee middle ground he's taken just makes him look pathetic.

In the 2 years after he left we managed a 3rd placed finish and a Scottish Cup. I'm not sure we would've done that with him in charge.

There’s no requirement for any names, if anything it’s showing respect.

Behind closed doors is where the names will be mentioned, and the relevant people will look into it and address it.

A wee mention in the public eye will help if he feels he needs steps taken.

That's an astonishing take on the quotes provided.
