DrewDon
I'd imagine the boys on here who were still being reeled in this week by some bedroom-dwelling Canadian fantasist even after his plethora of ridiculous and disproven claims in the past are also waiting on tenterhooks for a Nigerian prince to transfer $5M into their bank accounts.

It’s unfortunate but ties have to be cut unless we are contributing 0% to his wages? I’d assume he’ll be getting his loan extended going by what has been said, though what the point of that is if Cosgrove/Main is back is a different matter
Dons_1988
So...what's next in this brave new season? Perhaps we should open a book up to the P&B masses. Celtic bid a tenner for Mckenna who then spits the dummy out and ends up in the reserves? Ronald Hernandez to be deported by the Tories? Joe Lewis jailed for murdering his Mrs?
Golden Gordon
My hope is that McInnes approaches this season as if we're in a relegation dogfight and the transgressors rally round McInnes. What will probably happen is that there'll be dressing room splits and the players don't have the character to dig in as required. We'll also be behind the pace for a fair few games too. Dons_1988
We should start lobbying for reconstruction now to try and hide our real motive.
RussellAnderson
somebody cause some structural damage at the Caledonian Stadium to stop them from coming up!!
starryfish
Wonder if we could play a friendly before next Thursday? Lack of players, available opposition and concerns about picking up more injuries probably preclude it. Be almost 3 weeks since our opening match v Rangers. We didn’t look match sharp that day so be tough to be much more match ready for next Thursday.

Would probably be a good idea, as we will be further off the pace than our opponents than previously, but difficult for the reasons you say. Do we have enough for XI v XI at the moment? But then, who are the first team & who are the reserves?

Doubt it Edited August 13, 2020 by big al
resk
Aberdeen still in lockdown, would anyone want to or be allowed to travel for just a friendly? Doubt it I reckon legally that would be fine as the travel into or out of Aberdeen would be for work. Club- or fitba-specific procedure, and PR concerns, might not allow it though.

Difficult for the lads to get a few pints after the game though, so what’s the point?

It's alright, they can just ground share with us again. Arranging matches won't be a problem given we'll be playing Dunfermline et al.
