The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23

It's time for Aberdeen to step up to the mic and name names. The guilty players should be paraded and publicly shamed because the innocent players deserve to have their names cleared.

Man up and face the music you cowards.

a) Absolutely. However the fact that Aberdeen aren't defending their players position certainly points in a particular direction. Would be delighted if any of them come out an say 'I guarantee that on Saturday night I observed all protocols on distancing'.

b) The rules on social distancing are very clear indeed. There may be other rules in play that are specific to football which do seem rather esoteric and poorly understood.

It's altogether possible that there's been a different, or possibly more infractions, but it does seem that in attending a crowded gathering of strangers in what seemed a very tightly-packed environment, and subsequently testing positive, they've not really left much wiggle room for speculation.

They were clearly just after some fanny

Tear stained rants aside, there is stuff like medical confidentiality, employment rights and covid protocols to consider. Also most employers will tend to protect their employees in times of crisis. Why would finding out who the players involved are really help any of us right now?

Staggering that the Government don't even know the name of the league.

Incompetence rules.

Don't be a p***k. This isn't about politics it's about health issues and saving lives. Your team is the only guilty party in this crisis. Deflection is for cowards. Dons should be ashamed and hopefully get financially hammered by the SPFL. Deservedly IMO.

The point is that we only know that Aberdeen players have breached the protocols. Given that we don't know what the protocols are, people are speculating about what they have or haven't done. It seems possible that the breach occurred as soon as they entered a pub, not because of what they did once they were in there.

Pretty sure it's a freeview but McInnes press conference is up on redtv.
