Can't wait to go back to East Stirling, the chippy beside the train station in Labert (Enricos or something) gave my mate a full tatty in his bag of chips last time, quality stuff! Quite enjoyed Stirling Albion away too, hope they stay in this league along with Clyde, can't face going to East Fife again

Elgin is far and away the best day out in this league. Tremendous pies as well

Can we just merge this topic with the Montrose one and contain all of the Angus tedium to one thread?

We will do that if you go and merge your thread with Airdrie and Albion Rovers? Sounds fair to me??? :thumsup2

ETA: Actually after looking there are 4 clubs closer to Clyde than the distance it is from Arbroath to Montrose (the closest club to us) all central belt pish in one thread please! ^_^

I for one welcome Arbroath. It's great to see Montrose finally have a purpose again. Existing solely for a derby day, not bothered how they do in the league so long as they can scrape derby victories and 'get one over' on their vicious rivals.

English non-league forum for any post from Berwick please :thumsup2

It's quite cute that you went to do some research, but it's not a matter of geographical distance. The central belt has a far higher population density than Angus, which is basically just a big peat bog. Clyde and the other clubs nearby have all at least shown a semblance of ambition, purpose and history at one point or another, whereas the Angus Four have won about 3 token trinkets between them in their entire existance and are perfectly content to stagnate in the basement divisions until the end of time.

Just completely and utterly pointless. Merge them into one superclub and open up a few league places for more progressive, forward-thinking central belt clubs. Win win ^_^

Clyde move around and pitch up their circus tent anywhere that will let them.

Rutherglen, Maryhill, Airdrie, Hamilton, Cumbernauld......................anyone that will give us a ground please.......we will even change our name for one.

Pathetic side and pathetic supporters.

At least the Angus sides are true to their roots. The Angus sides are also a better day out, with none of the bile that you get from the Clyde Centre Stand Lads.
