Think morton will surprise a few people next season.

This league is utter mince in terms of real quality.

You clearly haven't seen us in a while, we'll settle in nicely at the bottom of the pile.

Especially if we start signing any fucking pub-league wasters from Clyde.

Dunno, from what I've heard you only have two players signed. Barchoiu and Imrie, both are far too good for this level.

Trust me Cowden made us look like a pub team, so that is the level of the league.

All you need is two big cloggers at the back, and big bruiser upfront and a couple of good midfielders, which you already have.

Imrie is out of contract, but Bachirou is indeed signed up. I expect him to be gone by the time the season starts however, as you say, far too good for League 1.

We also have keeper Nicolas Caraux, and midfielders Reece Hands and Joe McKee under contract for next season. The rumour was that Kenny Shiels had discussed new deals with lots of last season's squad, so who knows what will happen now that Jim Duffy has taken over.

We've now got two new utterly shite strips to go with our utterly shite club and utterly shite manager.

The badges on those look like someone has cut them out of a sticker album, all that's missing is the shiny background.

Our wee striker Faissal El Bakhtaoui was playing beach football before he was trafficked signed by JJ. Quite literally a beach footballer for the Seaside League.

Geggan is also shite.

You'll get some decent mileage out of that one for next season.

What exactly went wrong for Morton this season, how on earth can you go from pushing Partick for the title the year before and then completely falling apart and finishing bottom?

By losing the most important players from that squad (Michael Tidser, Kevin Rutkiewicz, Martin Hardie, Peter MacDonald) and replacing them with pish, mainly.

Imagine telling a Morton fan as he travlled to Firhill for that virtual title decider that by May 2014, they'd be in the seaside leagues under the stewardship of Jim Duffy.

Mind you, imagine telling us after winning promotion to the SPL that three years later we would be getting fucked by Cowdenbeath at EEP in a play off match which keeps us confined to Division 2 / League One.
