Unbelievable to think he started before Black or Taylor, Alex MacDonald must have been pished!!! Airdrie: Martin, Stewart, Johnston, Sandison, D Farrell, Smith, G Farrell, Wilson, Cooper, Evans (replaced by Black), McGrillen (replaced by Taylor). Clydebank: Scott, Wishart, Lovering, Teale (replaced by Miller), McLaughlin, Brannigan, Nichols, McDonald, Taggart, Robertson (replaced by Gardner), McWilliams (replaced by Smith). Referee: Mr G Clyde (Bearsden). Even more unbelieveable to think that from a team of 11 young men less than 16 years ago, three of them are no longer with us. Didn't he end up in jail for dealing? Or am I thinking of someone else? Nah mate, you're right enough, as usual, he did time for having a shitload of drugs (cocaine or heroin if I rember correctly) his excuse being that his gambling addiction caused him to owe money to "the wrong people" and that he was "holding it" for them. He had apparently been offered a deal by Kenny Shiels before he resigned, and rumour is that he will join us for pre-season under Duffy.
