JockysJetpack
Stealing this from the Premiership forum. Who is your clubs worse ever manager? In my time going to games it's been Alan Kernaghan, truly woeful. I remember going through to Airdrie only to see us outclassed 4-0. Thank f**k I decided not to go through for the game later in the season when we lost 7-0....jeezo Finished 7th in what wasn't a great 1st Division that season, he made Bomber look like a genius. andylivi1
We've had so many it's hard to choose just 1. More recently Richie Burke had a horror 6 months or so, also wasn't convinced with yogi's dreadful pass it along the back four before losing the ball and losing a goal tactic. Paul hegarty didn't have a great time but was one of the unfortunate ones that had to deal with mad man massone. Alan Preston is just a complete bellend. Further back Paul Lambert assembled probably one of the worst teams to ever play in the premier league, losing 7-0 going on 12 against Hibs was the final straw, funny that he's now managing in the EPL, his big mistake was possibly registering and playing himself a few times. Dunning1874
We've had our fair share of absolute shite, but James Grady is the worst. We've had many managers who have a piss poor tactical understanding of the game or were stubborn, refusing to change things when they weren't working, but Grady genuinely didn't have any knowledge of tactics at all. It was blatantly obvious watching us that we didn't even have a game plan every week, his team talks clearly consisted of 'flat 4-4-2 today lads' and that was it. He does get some credit for signing Michael Tidser, but as good a signing as that was people seem to remember him as some excellent judge of a player on the basis of it when his other signings included the woefully inadequate Alan Reid, in addition to releasing Brian Wake in order to sign Donovan Simmonds, one of the worst players ever to play for the club. mike rankine
The Jim Fallon era at Dumbarton still causes me to break out in a cold sweat. A perfect example of a decent coach / assistant manager who wasn't capable of being a manager in his own right.
eindhovendee
Cool hair though. I've just changed my mind even if he was a useless b*****d that clapped the Arabs off at Dens after pumping us.
Disco Duck
Lambie, no question. However, I think Raith fans have this covered.
CowdenLoyal
Yup Brian Welsh. Not only due to being completely inept, he also (rightly) had the remainder of his contract paid which IIRC was around £150k since his father in law put him on £50k a year for four years. Makes me shiver.
Accies1
I've been fortunate that in my time supporting Accies we've only had Maitland, Reid and Neil. All of whom are club legends.

DeeTillEhDeh
Kernaghan is a good call. Also Dave 'Coco the Clown' Smith - applauding United off the park after we got thumped 3-0 at home by the DABs.
mike rankine
To back up my Jim Fallon nomination, his Wikipedia entry says it all! Fallon is notable for leading Dumbarton to two successive relegations from the Scottish First Division to the Scottish Third Division from 1995 to 1996. Fallon won only one home game in his 14 months in charge, overall winning only two out of 46 games. He also featured in a Guardian article 'The six worst managerial stints of all-time" http://www.theguardian.com/football/2007/nov/06/sport.comment2 Case closed M'lord! (for Dumbarton FC, at least). The Blue Brasilion
Brian Welsh, did not have a clue, also got a few touchline bans. Special mention to Peter Cormack who was sacked at McDonalds after only 10 days without managing in a match.
Ned Nederlander
We've had a few belters. Bannon Lambie May At least Eddie May knew he was out his depth I guess ! Gerry Collins is worth a mention as well but Lambie really is the the beginning and the end of Falkirk's list.
