My mums just told me that the care home she works in will be showing the match love to all residents and staff. Fantastic stuff as I know a few people round at the place were unable to travel due to medical reasons.

No offence but it's hardly fantastic stuff. The game's on terrestrial TV and you'd expect there to be a TV in a care home no? They would be a cold hearted bunch to say no!

Great to read above that we've hit that magic 15,000 mark. Absolutely glorious.

15,000 is superb. As we'll undoubtedly sell a few more in the next couple of days looks like we can say we took 'more than 15,000' to the cup final.

15k is a ridiculous amount from a city the size of Perth.

It is a fantastic amount, roughly 33% of the population of Perth?

Likewise United are bringing about 35% of their half of the population of Dundee?

I know there will be hundreds travelling to support both teams that don't live in either city but as a rough estimate the numbers are staggering.

Absolutely great numbers but I would argue that those %'s are not correct. Doesn't really matter.

But surely there are over 100K people in Perth?

-Shire? Slightly less than 50k in Perth maybe nearer 60 once you add on Scone, and the wee villages right next to it.
