We've enough dross to fill a stand, never mind a team. There are five howlers of ours just from the two Ayr teams so far (Roddy Grant, Mendes, Willis, Gary Patterson, David Moss).

In a Jocky Scott style defensive lineup..

Derek Stillie (sorry Chris Smith haters but Stillie got on my wick for some reason. I think it was his frequent habit of making tame shots look unstoppable)

Jason (Cup Glory) Thomson

Lex (Fat) Baillie

Sandy Clark

Davie (Man U) Moyes

Jimmy (Cowden) Nicholl

Sergio (Brazilian) Duarte

Ian McParland

Jamie Mole

Paul O'Brien

Paul Chalmers

I always thought Joe Love was a decent player, nowhere near the worst I've seen at Ayr, same with Marius Rovde.

On Nigel Jemson you forgot to put the (post contract signing) before that he looked like one of the best players Ayr had ever had, until he signed a contract and quickly went down hill

I think to truly be an all time worst player you have to had played more than a handful of games. I have of course utterly contridicted this with a couple of inclusions, but as one them played in a cup final, I simply couldn't omit him.

I'm also certain I could make multiple teams as I just made the one below off the top of my head. I'll post at least one more tomorrow.

GK: Chris Smith

RB: Jason Thompson

CB: Andy Linighan

CB: Alex Keddie

LB: Ian Campbell

RM: Richard Huxford

CM: Ged Brannen

CM: Sergio Duarte

LM: Jamie Squires

ST: Andy Campbell

ST: Georgi Hristov

It is tough when you can only chose between two seasons worth of players tbf.

Still hurting? Even though we've been rotten, we've still pumped your mob with ease and we'll be doing it again for the last time.

Yep, he did. I don't know what peoples problem with him was. He was a decent player. Not amazing but he was a lot better than some would suggest.

I think the fact he was sandwiched between woods and McMillan unfairly distorts people's views on him.

If I could find it (and I can't, I've just had a look), I would post footage of the 0-3 game at East End against St Johnstone that highlighted the astonishing shitness of Jason Thomson.

*shudders*

That boy is fucking useless, and I remember that game in particular, chasing the winger like a three-legged dug with piles. Painful stuff.
