The Alloa Athletic Thread

Recommended Posts

Evening fellas. Can anyone let me know what happened to Nicky Jamieson, signed from QP in July and now seemingly not at Alloa?

Where have you seen he’s left Alloa? Picked up a hamstring injury in first friendly and has been out. Haven’t heard of any departure.

Evening all. A while ago one of my pals and I recorded an interview with Robbie Deas. We've just published the full interview and in it he talks about his time with Alloa, playing under Peter grant and learning alongside Andy Graham. Give it a listen you might enjoy it!

The (Ord) Hills Have Eyes - it should start appearing in Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts very shortly. Thanks to @Waspie who provided some helpful information for our chats with and about Robbie :)

Cheers mate appreciate it. He was very nice to talk to and very complimentary of Alloa and his time there.

Should be on Apple and Spotify now if anyone wants to listen to it there.

Really good listen RiG. Robbie comes across very well. Wise beyond his years on and off the park! Hope he does really well for ICT.

Off on a tangent here, but I saw in a tweet from the Advertiser that big Neilly is out for "a few weeks". Great news if that is indeed the case, think we all feared the worse last week.

One game one defeat

I'm calm but absolutely realistic that we need at least another option or 2 up front to give us the best chance of survival this season , Thomson and Buchs had a combined total of 2 goals in the championship last season. I just think not to bring in more options would be crazy.
