stennybairn
Apparently we missed out on Mark Beck from Carlisle due to him breaking his nose. Looks like Smith is looking for a big target man. would have been a decent signing, great height and strength. was decent for us 2nd half of last season
Cowden til i die
Where'd you read this and who to? Better than a pound thoughOn twitter. Sponsor hasn't been announced yet. The majority of the cash will go towards relaying a new pitch.

BigMartyn86
Hopefully we go down the same route as Hamilton Accies and get some Tiger Turf as that looks a lot better than our current pitch.
Homer Thompson
Hopefully we go down the same route as Hamilton Accies and get some Tiger Turf as that looks a lot better than our current pitch. All of the newer generation pitches are really good. You'll definitely get an upgrade if thats what the money is spent on Sounds like a great move by the board

Bluegrass Bairn
Says ear on the carlisle website where they have an update on all their injuries. Says he's still not allowed contact until the 6th. His injured ear must be contagious. Curious to know what he's done so people have to avoid his ear.

Ex-Bairn Carl Finnigan, who in his time with us was out the team with every injury known to man except malaria, rickets and a nasty shaving cut, had tinnitus. If anyone came into contact with big Beck he'd fall over like an oak.
BigMartyn86
In what way? It's looks a better pitch. I remember there was a feature on it on sky sports new before the Accies v Hibs playoff game and it impressed me.
printer
It's looks a better pitch. Yes, but in what way did it look better? Was it a nicer colour? Was the 'grass' a better length? Did the ball bounce higher or lower?
Raith Against The Machine
Maybe it just doesn't have a ridiculously unpredictable bounce?
wasp9
Who pays 6 figure sum for the naming rights of a Scottish championship part time club though? A company that Mr Mulraney is involved in and has plenty of money. Edited September 5, 2014 by wasp9
number one wasp
A company that Mr Mulraney is involved in and has plenty of money. I figured it would be a company he would be involved with in some way. Does anyone know who the 2 trialists were the other night in the closed door game?
BigMartyn86
Yes, but in what way did it look better? Was it a nicer colour? Was the 'grass' a better length? Did the ball bounce higher or lower? It looks more natural and a better pitch to play on. Best people to judge it would be the players as they've played on both surfaces.
