Scored goal of the season but that was about it. Didn't look fit enough and was a bit part player especially after Ferguson left.  Being honest we were poor when he came in so it wasn't easy for him.

That was quite the cameo for Riley-Snow against Dumbarton. Came on as a late sub, scored a peach, conceded a daft penalty by barging into an opposition player when there was little danger, ball watching as Dumbarton went 2-1 up, then gets an assist on their winner 😁

He wasn't the kind of player we needed (as such, a typical BF signing) and would appear Rice wasn't too impressed given his fleeting appearances. I did think he showed good passing ability in his first game against Clyde, but unless he was to seriously improve fitness and mobility I couldn't see him doing much at our level.

Riley Snow was decent technically, could fizz a good pass and,as with his goal against Dumbarton, could strike a ball very well. Unfortunately he seemed to lack the mobility or game intelligence to compete properly in the midfield, and games could pass him by. He came to us having not played much and wasn't a regular in our team so perhaps a full pre-season and regular game time would help overcome the issues in his game. Similarly he might look a better player in a system that played to his strengths.

Agree with this, and he might do better in a more structured midfield- technically he looked reasonably okay. The midfield organisation under BF was akin to headless chickens, so I dont completely hold that against the player. Under Brian Rice he didnt play all that often- the Dumbarton cameo has been mentioned. The only start I recall was against Queens Park away when Rice decided to omit football players due to the quagmire pitch (at the time). He did okay in that game.

Hard to tell from his time at Alloa what he was capable of, based on very limited game time when we actually started to look more like a football team. But I agree with the manager that he was behind Cawley, Robertson, Boyd, Sena, Scougall etc in the pecking order.
