The international clearance mentioned by LeodhasXD was surely a reference to the imminent arrival of Ebanda, Calderon and Payo.

Squad still very bare at this stage. Number of the signings look like gambles. Hopefully at least a few of them will pay off, but think we certainly still need 2 or 3 really solid additions who can boost the starting 11.

Im picturing Payo in the veteran stage of his career, with a fully grown beard like Socrates (the Brazilian midfielder, not the Greek philosopher)...having lost a bit of pace now, dropping back into a deeper position and completely running the show

How signing works is paperwork get's submitted then the SPFL confirms it. I've seen teams get the paperwork done and announce before it's confirmed. We only announce after its confirmed which can take one or two days. International clearance requires them to contact the previous league body I think so it can take longer.
The last batch of signings was meant to be 4 instead of 3 but the player after having completed all the paperwork got a full time offer and instead signed with them. It's a good idea to wait.

Who was the 4th?...[emoji51]

what are the admission prices for tonight ?

£17. Think I'll give it a miss!

The good old "price increase for promotions, price freeze for relegations" policy is still in force then. We'll probably be the most expensive tie to watch tonight.

pushing the bounds of our loyalty with this price methinks !

And the Arbroath fans are in meltdown...

Only 302 (according to BBC web  site)at the Recs tonight...prices say it all.

not surprising , but i grudgingly paid up and thought it was worth it in the end , some game the ref was a disaster and looked out of his depth parry imitating the french goalie in the world cup final what a howler !!!

Going forward we were good tonight. Trouts and Spence looking sharp! That boy Hastie looks a player, can certainly run with it. A few howlers at the back but strikers made up for it. Zak didn’t look out of place at all though, neither did Dick.

Still a few short squad wise as the bench did look a bit bare but a very promising start!
