TheScarf
The Yes campaign using this and the 'Rangers fans on Independence' YouTube clip would probably result in a landslide yes in September.
ForzaDundee
Izzard is simply seeking to build up goodwill from the Westminster elite so that he gets Labour's London Mayor 2020 spot.

Ya Bezzer!
Isn't Izzard a prominent Labour party supporter? The Labour party in England is cacking itself because they know their chances of forming a government without Scottish votes are limited. That's what he means by "diminished". Thumper
Isn't Izzard a prominent Labour party supporter? Yes. Fundamentally this isn't about Scotland's interests, but the interests of the UK. As someone who lives in England and identifies with progressive politics, he's perfectly right not to want Scotland to leave the UK and thus skew the rump even further to the right. I can respect that (and I fucking love Eddie Izzard) while disagreeing with it on the grounds that it's not my job as a Scot to fix English democracy. The Labour party in England is cacking itself because they know their chances of forming a government without Scottish votes are limited. That's what he means by "diminished". Isn't it the case that no Labour government has ever needed Scottish seats to win an election?
