Why is there this unrelenting, systematic campaign to impose regional classification upon teams in the current league2?? Speaking purely selfishly, clubs at our level are not the cause of the stale, garbage forms of 'entertainment' on offer higher above, despite what everyones favourite blazers Doncaster and Regan might tell you. Whoever falls out the league, knowing that its a possibility this year, will have deserved to, but taking the spectre of national.competition away from six clubs to fill some nonsense agenda sounds ludicrous in the extreme.

Cant believe im saying this but I agree with you, Arbroath are a senior football team, putting us to regional would make it glorified juniors and would make alot of people lose interes, quickly.

Then don't finish bottom of the league. I was castigated by everyone for daring to suggest the very same fate befalling any or every senior club who drops out as being 'backward' and 'detrimental to the growth of clubs who wish to'. Too many, including HJ repeatedly point to silly, logical things like profits and sustainability as the be all and end all...if the league2 clubs are happy continuing as they are, and soon routinely swipe the non-league winners aside every year, what then?? Will they come up with an automatic trapdoor JUST to feed the supposed elitists?? The lowest teir clubs are doing no one whatsoever any harm, and are allowing committed, if limited players a national (meaningful) platform from which a select few can move on and forge successful and even life-changing careers. Its called development.
