Second place is phenomenal. Hope the BBC take the hint that trying actually gets results. No reason we can’t win in a ‘normal’ year.

People forget that, by the time he got to his last few contests, Wogan was absolutely phoning it in and couldn't give less of a f**k.

Yes - it was the endless voting for neighbours that caused Wogan to pack it in.
